Darigold: Utilizing Existing Assets
Headquartered in Seattle, Darigold is the marketing and processing subsidiary of the Northwest Dairy Association, which is owned by around 350 dairy families in the Pacific Northwest. One of the largest US dairy processors, Darigold producers a full line of dairy-based products for retail, foodservice, commodity, and specialty markets.
Working with their marketing team, my team and I created a series of 6, 15, and 30 second commercials using only existing photo assets. We brought these photos to life by using traditional stop motion photography. We captured 1000’s of individual frames of different hands placing the photos down on a green matte, and then digitally manipulated the frames to create the illusion of the photos being placed down in the environment they were taken.
These spots are currently being used on social media and other web-based platforms to support their product line and create brand awareness.
