Leeco Steel | Processing Services
The Marketing Team at Leeco is always looking and pushing us to make something that’s going to stand out and demand attention.
This particular campaign was focused on Leeco expanding its plate processing services which are projected to be a major source of revenue growth in the next five years. For those of you not familiar with the steel industry, plate processing is a term used to encompass any type of extra handling applied to steel plates, such as cleaning, burning, and drilling. Leeco has the ability to do all 3 at the highest level.
The creative was to tour one of Leeco’s processing plants, located in Joshua, Texas, while capturing a walk through in single, one-take shot....or at least give the impression of. Photo Real / 3D text elements were then placed in the environment to call out the various services and technology in the plant. Everyone in the video were actual employees of Leeco and did a great job playing themselves.

Dairy Management Inc. (DMI) tapped Concept One to help create a sizzle video that would help the farmers in their federation better understand the rapidly growing Gen Z population.
As you’ll learn in the video, Gen Z constitutes about 20% of the US population and have the spending power of more than $100 billion.
DMI has been pivoting their marketing efforts to create relevancy with younger audiences and are working to show Gen Zers that dairy can deliver benefits they are seeking but may not be aware of.

Leeco Trading | Anthem Video
Once again, Concept One teamed up with Leeco Steel to create and establish market positioning with another Anthem Video for Leeco Trading.
Leeco Trading is an international commodities trading company with over 140 years of experience in moving physical goods and commodities from their source to where they are needed. Tracing its roots back to Leeco Steel, which was founded as a scrap trading company in Chicago in 1882, Leeco Trading has a deep history in the international trading of metals for customers large and small throughout the world.
Produced during the height of the pandemic, our opportunity to capture new footage was limited. Using existing assets, and stock footage we were able to create, like the video says, something worth having the Leeco name.

Darigold: Utilizing Existing Assets
Headquartered in Seattle, Darigold is the marketing and processing subsidiary of the Northwest Dairy Association, which is owned by around 350 dairy families in the Pacific Northwest. One of the largest US dairy processors, Darigold producers a full line of dairy-based products for retail, foodservice, commodity, and specialty markets.
Working with their marketing team, Concept One created a series of 6, 15, and 30 second commercials using only existing photo assets. We brought these photos to life by using traditional stop motion photography. We captured 1000’s of individual frames of different hands placing the photos down on a green matte, and then digitally manipulated the frames to create the illusion of the photos being placed down in the environment they were taken.
These spots are currently being used on social media and other web-based platforms to support their product line and create brand awareness.

Brand films are some of our favorite projects to work on because it gives us the opportunity to help a company define their culture, and positioning in the marketplace.
When Corrugated Supplies Company (CSC) tapped us to create theirs, we was blown away by the importance, the current growth of the industry, and their key role in the world’s supply chain.
In the industry CSC is known to be the sheet feeder with the most responsive service, highest tech ordering system, and fastest turnaround. They understand that business today is much more than delivering high quality sheets within tighter-than-ever timeframes. It’s about creating corrugated sheet solutions that solve problems and deliver better end results for the box plants and POP display customers they serve.
Concept One traveled the US visiting each one of CSC’s facilities to learn about their culture and capture their day-to-day operations. From their CEO / Founder to the newest hired employee, the group at CSC are some of the hardest working people we’ve met that truly believes in what they do.

Leeco Steel | Leeco Pro Launch
On June 23, 2021 – Leeco Steel, the largest supplier of steel plate in North America, announced the launch of its official e-commerce website, Leeco Pro.
With the pandemic still keeping doors closed, Concept One was tasked with the challenge of creating content for an online launch party that would bring that “wow” factor and keep their online audience engaged.
Using Cinema 4D, we transformed the e-commerce platform by placing it into a 3D world and showing off its features…giving the applications size, and depth.
The platform itself was created for current Leeco customers and allows users to browse and purchase 12 core grades of steel plate across 32 thicknesses and in pattern sizes. The platform will offer a variety of digital features as well.

Not only did the team at Concept One help Leeco Steel to define their culture, positioning, and messaging…we gave them an Anthem.
While working with Leeco in the creation of recruitment content, we discovered that we were working with a company that has a culture that was not only unique in the steel industry but unique period.
The tagline “The Strongest Name in Steel” wasn’t created by an internal marketing team because it sounds cool, it was created because the entire company lives and breathes to bring those five words to life.
To articulate this positioning, we created a one-minute brand film that introduces the values and culture of Leeco Steel to potential customers to drive home the fact that Leeco wants to be their steel plate provider of choice…anywhere and everywhere.
